Prof. Dr. med. Sven Mahner is the Director and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at LMU University Hospital in Munich and heads the Gynecological Cancer Center. His clinical and scientific work focuses on the treatment of gynecological cancers, especially ovarian and vulvar carcinomas. He is deeply involved in clinical studies as well as translational and molecular research projects aimed at developing targeted therapies. As a member and leader of numerous professional societies and research groups, he significantly contributes to the advancement of gynecological oncology.
