AACR Journal Cancer Discovery Seminar by Dr. I-Mei Siu

The AACR journal Cancer Discovery has become one of the highest rated "Cancer journals". With a current Impact Factor of almost 40, Cancer Discovery covers the entire spectrum of cancer research from fundamental and translational science to practice-changing clinical trials.

We would like to invite you to a virtual seminar by:

Dr. I-Mei Siu (Senior Editor, Cancer Discovery) on 14. January 15:00 (link will follow in January)

I-Mei will present a talk to introduce the audience to Cancer Discovery and provide insights into the scope and editorial ethos at the Journal. The talk will be followed by a moderated 30 min. Q&A.

For PhD students: After this main event, we invite DKFZ PhD students to continue discussing with Dr. I-Mei Siu on how to publish in Cancer Discovery and what it makes to write an excellent manuscript as well as dealing with editor and reviewer comments. This part is scheduled for one hour and is restricted to 20 PhD students.

For Post-Docs and PIs: Dr. I-Mei Siu is happy to schedule one-on-one virtual appointments in the weeks following her presentation to discuss specific projects you may be planning to submit to Cancer Discovery.
