Save-the-date: Science meets Industry Day

Following the success of the inaugural event, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), and the Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (vfa) are once again bringing together representatives from academia and industry to foster dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in translational cancer research for the 2nd Science meets Industry Day.

The event will be complemented by a pre-event program on October 19, 2026, including guided visits to selected DKFZ research and technology facilities (for industry partners only) and a networking dinner (for all participants).

The Science meets Industry Day provides a platform for exchange between researchers, clinicians, technology experts, and industry partners. The program will feature selected translational research projects from DKFZ and DKTK, industry perspectives, and interactive discussions on key challenges in academia-industry collaboration.

Agenda
The preliminary agenda for the 2nd Science meets Industry Day is currently being finalized and will be published in July 2026. The program will feature presentations of selected translational research projects from DKFZ and DKTK, industry perspectives, interactive discussions on challenges in academia-industry collaboration, and dedicated networking opportunities.

Registration
Participation is open to members of the vfa, DKFZ, DKTK, and NCT communities. Please note that registration may be moderated due to limited capacity. Registration will open soon.
