The Essen Translational Oncology Symposium (ETOS) is an event of the DKTK partner site Essen/Düsseldorf that highlights preclinical translational and
reverse-translational research projects, showcasing contributions from master’s students to full professors.
As in previous years, the symposium will feature a diverse range of scientific work from across our community. Selected abstracts will be invited for oral presentations, and the most outstanding talk will be awarded the ETOS Trophy (“Wanderpokal”).
Continuing with tradition, last year’s talk winner, Nalini Kolar Srinivas, will open the symposium and ceremonially hand over the Grubenlampe. She will then serve as the moderator for the talk delivered by last year’s poster prize winner, Patricia Munteanu.
ETOS has traditionally attracted almost 200 participants and more than 80 poster presentations. It offers an excellent opportunity to connect with the local research community, explore potential collaborations, and gain inspiring insights during the extended breaks through discussions with colleagues from Essen, Düsseldorf, and the broader region.
