DKTK School of Oncology Tech Talk with Prof. Dr. Stefan Knapp

The DKTK School of Oncology will host its first Tech Talk of the year, featuring Prof. Dr. Stefan Knapp (Goethe University Frankfurt), Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and CSO of the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) node in Frankfurt.

In his lecture, titled “Development of Selective Degraders and Their Potential for the Treatment of Cancer,” Prof. Knapp will present current strategies to explore the human E3 ligase family for the development of novel ligands and next-generation PROTAC degraders. The talk will highlight innovative approaches to E3 ligand discovery, a click-chemistry-based PROTAC synthesis platform, and a streamlined “direct-to-biology” screening concept designed to accelerate translational drug development.

The session will conclude with an open discussion and opportunity for questions.
