The DKTK’s Clinical Communication Platform (CCP) pools clinical data and information on available biological material across all the consortium’s sites. The clinical data is primarily based on existing tumor documentation at the locations.
Clinical researchers at the DKTK locations can use this infrastructure to find answers to research questions and/or to influence the data collected and its quality.
Type of Questions
- Evaluation of tumor documentation data (retrospective approach)
- Building up quality-assured registers (prospective approach)
- Outcomes research questions
- Research questions relating to biological material and clinical data
Project proposals are supported by CCP Office, who provides a project management service. Projects are implemented in collaboration with CCP IT using CCP infrastructure and in collaboration with the relevant staff at the various locations. A few pilot projects are already being initiated.
There is the option of joint implementation for new pilot projects.
Service & Support
The first point of contact for researchers and medics in the DKTK is the CCP Office. Potential project ideas are outlined during an initial phone call and the possibilities are discussed
