Dr. Max Reichert is a Max-Eder Group Leader and he is heading the Patient-derived Organoid Repository as well as the Center for Translational Pancreatic Cancer Research at the Klinikum rechts der Isar, Technical University of Munich. Reichert’s research focuses on the molecular underpinnings of cellular plasticity in cancer initiation and dissemination as well as resistance to chemotherapy. Using system biology approaches as well as complementary in vitro and in vivo assays using pancreatic cancer patient-derived organoids, his laboratory addresses questions related to both basic as well as translational cancer biology.
