Michael Baudis from the University of Zurich is the speaker in the GHGA virtual lecture series Advances in Data-Driven Biomedicine. He will present the history and trajectory of the Beacon protocol as well as discuss it in the context of GA4GH and ELIXIR standards and potential deployment options for genomics resources, Beacon networks and aggregators.

The lecture will be hosted by Luiz Gadelha, GHGA’s GDI project coordinator.
