The first Clinical Cancer Genomics Conference (CCG2025) will take place in Amsterdam from 20 to 21 March 2025. This new annual conference will focus on the integration of modern genomic approaches into research and clinical practice. Under the motto ‘Whole genomes and transcriptomes: from clinic to research and back’, the conference will highlight the latest developments in genomic cancer medicine.

Stefan Fröhling, Managing Director of the National Center for Tumour Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg and Head of the Division of Translational Medical Oncology at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), is one of the co-organisers of the conference. He will talk about the DKFZ/NCT/DKTK MASTER programme and whole-genome and whole-transcriptome sequencing for precision oncology in Germany. Another speaker is Eva Winkler, head of the Section for Translational Medical Ethics at the NCT Heidelberg and a member of the NCT Heidelberg's Directorate. Her talk will focus on ethical aspects of the joint use of genomic data.
