WORKING AS A CLINICIAN SCIENTIST

Stefanie Deinhardt-Emmer works as a clinician scientist at Jena University Hospital. Before she became Assistant Medical Direc-tor at the Institute for Medical Microbiology at Jena University Hospital and startet her own research group on Translational Mi-crobiology, she gained research experience abroad at the Buck Institute of Research on Aging. Stefanie is currently engaged in an Advanced Clinician Scientist Program and attracted important fundings. She has won several awards, like the Lecture Award of the Else Kröner Clinician Scientist Symposium or the Award of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology.
