Summary

Oliver Weigert is a physician scientist in the Medical Department III (Hematology & Medical Oncology) at the Hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), Munich. He holds a professorship position for Translational Lymphoma Research at the LMU and is co-heading the Laboratory for Experimental Leukemia and Lymphoma Research (ELLF). Furthermore, he is a member of the German Lymphoma Alliance (GLA) and serves as a spokesperson of the working group Biological Research.

Oliver Weigert’s laboratory is largely committed to the molecular characterization and the biology of malignant B-cell lymphomas to develop prognostic and predictive tools for risk- and biology-adapted treatment strategies.
