Travel Grants of the DKTK School of Oncology enable Fellows to participate in national and international scientific conferences and workshops for the purposes of professional development, networking, and academic profile building.
Funding covers registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation costs of up to €2,500 per application, depending on the duration and location of the event.

A DKTK Research Rotation Grant enables Fellows of the DKTK School of Oncology to undertake a temporary research stay of up to three months in another research laboratory—within the DKTK or at external institutions in Germany or abroad. The aim is to further develop new scientific research questions and to acquire specific expertise and methodological know-how.
Funding supports travel and accommodation expenses with grants of up to

  • €3,000 for stays within Germany,
  • €5,000 for stays within Europe,
  • €7,000 for stays outside Europe,

in each case depending on the duration of the stay.
