5th International Conference on Cancer Prevention

The International Conference on Cancer Prevention (ICCP) is a flagship event hosted by the National Cancer Prevention Center (NCPC), a strategic partnership between the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and German Cancer Aid. The conference supports the goals of the German National Decade against Cancer and highlights the critical importance of cancer prevention research.

The upcoming ICCP 2026 promises an inspiring and interactive program, including a keynote lecture, five thematic sessions with scientific presentations and round-table discussions, covering:

• Inequities
• The big three: smoking, alcohol and obesity
• Implementation science
• Risk-stratified early detection
• Advances in liquid biopsy and imaging for early detection
• Planetary health and effects of environmental exposures
• Late effects and prevention after cancer

Call for abstracts is open
We cordially invite you to submit your abstract on cancer prevention research and implementation. Abstracts submitted will be considered by the Program Committee for the poster exhibition and most high-ranking abstracts have the chance to be selected for a talk within a session.
