At the 7th Joint DZG Symposium, the winners of the 2024 funding call for overarching-DZG projects will present their projects and the new call for 2025 will be opened. The Symposium provides opportunities to actively network and find potential partners for your next collaborative projects.

The Joint Dresden DZG Symposium provides a platform for both young and established scientists to exchange ideas about current research strategies and state-of-the-art methods across the German Centers for Health Research (DZG) in Dresden. 

Dresden combines four DZG: 

  • German Cancer Consortium (DKTK)
  • German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE)
  • Paul Langerhans Institute Dresden of the German Center for Diabetes Research (PLID-DZD)
  • German Center for Child and Adolescent Health (DZKJ)

Keynote Speaker:

  • Prof. Sandrine Thuret (KCL) on the topic of hippocampal progenitor cells as biomarkers of cognitive ageing & dementia
