The Systems Biology of Human Disease (SBHD) conference focuses on systems biology approaches for the understanding, diagnosis, and therapy of human diseases. The SBHD will feature an exciting program with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cancer, Infectious Diseases, Metabolic Diseases, Lung Diseases, Mental Health, and Aging. In addition to talks given by invited speakers, the SBHD has had a good tradition of including short talks, as well as an extended poster session selected from submitted abstracts. Also the Anne Heidenthal Prize for Fluorescence Research, sponsored by Chroma Technology Corp, will be awarded.
A particular feature of this year’s conference will be a number of special events addressing young scientists and students. This will include a workshop, a fireside chat and a breakfast event with Thomas Südhof. For all these events, all registered students and young scientists can apply to participate. These will come at no extra cost, but free spaces for these special events are limited. To participate and to win a talk alongside a nobel laureate you can submit an abstract until April 14. All Abstracts submitted before April 14 will be evaluated. The best abstracts will be awarded with a 20 minute short talk (incl. discussion).
