Summer School in Translational Cancer Research

The Summer School in Translational Cancer Research has been initialized in 2011 by the EU-financed EurocanPlatform project. Since then it has been aiming at meeting the high necessity of improving cancer-related educational activities towards translational and interdisciplinary settings.  Since 2016, the Summer School has been offered annually under the umbrella of Cancer Core Europe (CCE), organized in cooperation with the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg, as well as the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK) and supported by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR). Travel Grants

DKTK awards travel grants to School of Oncology fellows for participation in DKTK internal or external national/international) scientific congresses, symposia, workshops or advanced training courses related to translational cancer research aiming at further education, networking and career development.

Research Rotation Fellowships (Visiting Scientist)

DKTK awards fellowships to School of Oncology fellows for a structured and dedicated research rotation in the area translational cancer research (at another DKTK site, external national or international) for up to 3 months, aiming at gain of know-how and career development.
